Cats Protection Disclosure Statement

Cats Protection will not knowingly deal with companies or individuals who are directly involved in:

-Animal testing, both invasive and non invasive, for cosmetic or other non medical purposes, unless required for regulatory purposes. Palatability of cat food, behavioural testing or medicines for the use of cats are deemed acceptable.
-Any aspect of the fur trade

Furthermore, a donation or partnership proposal may be refused on one of these grounds:
-Association with criminal sources or money laundering.
-The donor or prospective partner’s objectives are opposed to those of Cats Protection.
-Donation or association with the partner could lead to a decline in support for Cats Protection, which may result in a fall in the resources available to help cats and kittens in need. This could include, but not limited to, bad publicity, restrictions imposed by the donor on the use of the gift, internal communications difficulties and putting the charity’s good name and reputation at risk.
